Rebranding a commodity trading company that’s dared to be different.
VCMT was a commodities trading company. After switching their focus to renewable energy trading and changing their name to Dare, they were looking for a fundamental change to their brand. We worked with them to redefine their positioning to give meaning to their new name and create a bold new brand identity which set the foundations for their ambition of shaking up the industry.
The brand needed to strike a fine balance between appealing to sharp, young minds who were looking to enter and transform this mainly conservative industry, while also conveying the gravitas of being a serious player in the category. Since its re-launch, Dare has appeared extensively in major financial publications, with the new identity helping to set the scene for equally bold opinions and approaches.
